5 easy steps your file upload pages are ready to run and accept all kinds of files from the Internet.

  1. Step (1):

    Download and install UpFilesBE ver 1.1
    After the download completes double-click the UpFilesBEV11.exe file in the Windows Explorer to begin installing UpFilesBE ver 1.1 on your IIS Web Server.

  2. Step (2):

    Create a top level directory called \bin within your web application folder. Copy to this folder the files expandata.net.dll, UpFilesBEModule.dll, AjaxPro.2.dll and adodb.dll (Microsoft PIA) from the bin directory of UpFilesBE installation folder.

    Create a top level directory called \Languages within your web application folder. Copy to this folder all the sub-folders from the \Languages directory of UpFilesBE installation folder.

    Create a top level directory called \Skins within your web application folder. Copy to this folder all the sub-folders from the \Skins directory of UpFilesBE installation folder.

    Create a top level directory named \dest within your web application folder. Set Folder access (Full/Read/Write) permissions to the NETWORK SERVICE user account for the \dest folder as well as for the \Windows\Temp folder.

  3. Step (3):

    Copy to the web.cofig file of your web application the UpFilesBEModule entry from the httpModules section of the web.cofig file in the UpFilesBE installation folder.

    Also copy to the web.cofig file of your web application the entry from the httpHandlers section of the web.cofig file in the UpFilesBE installation folder.

  4. Step (4):

    Copy the files
    uploadwithAJAXprogress.aspx
    and
    UploadWithAJAXProgress.aspx.cs

    from the

    \samples\CS\uploadsamples\Advanced\UploadWithAJAXProgress

    sub-folder under the UpFilesBE installation folder to any of your folders in your web application.

  5. Step (5):

    Create the following entry in the Global.asax.cs file of your web application

    protected void Application_Start(Object sender, EventArgs e)
    {
    Application["server"] = "Yourserver";
    Application["vroot"] = "/YourVirtualDirectory"; // YourVirtualDirectory is the name of your virtual directory.
    }

    View the uploadwithAJAXprogress.aspx page in the browser.
